Amazing moon and cloud phenomenon that I only noticed after zooming on on our Surf City day trip pictures.

Ok, admittedly I don’t get very many comments on the blog. But what gets me is this business of using blogger comments to put advertisements in them, what I am guessing to get the search bots to think they have more links that they really do in an attempt to get higher search rankings.  When I see them, I just delete them as I would rather have no comments then crappy comments. I suspect they are trying to trick the search engines to think they have links to all these sites and increase their search result ranking…go somewhere else please. Odds are if you have to resort to this type of gaming, you don’t have a quality product or service.  I now moderate all comments and will not approve any comments with URLs in them. Rant over. John

UPS and USPS Damaged Shipment Log for 2022, 2023, and 2024 - Last Updated February 17, 2024

I am going to use this to document damaged shipments going forward. I went back and found a few other damaged shipping items and added them to cover all of 2022 and 2023. Almost all damage is via UPS Ground. Considering moving to FedEx. Roughly my damage rate is 0.5% as I ship about 200 packages a month and have less than 1 damage a month. #8 - Feb 17, 2024 Well, went ALMOST a year with no damaged pictures, but got this one today that was shipped via UPS Ground and was approx 33" x 40" x 5". It was a large signed and numbered Tom Darro print, "Woman Who Dreamed of White Wolf". Honestly, don't think there was much more I could have practically done, it almost looks like it was just dropped flat pretty hard from the shatter pattern. What I have Learned So Far - What I Like and Don’t Like about eBay Selling and Life in General

I am closing in on my 18 month milestone of starting SecondMoonshot and my second career selling on eBay. Not so much a lessons learned, but a few things I like and some I don’t, some about eBay, some about life in general. In no particular order. eBay gets a lot of gripes on the forums, but for what they offer on the platform, I have no issues and fully support the direction they have taken. Likes In-person auctions: human interaction, meet new people, better people, better wins The thrill of finding a gem and paying little for it I get to spend time with Zabrina I get to drive around in my cars most days I am learning every day, keeping my mind active and feeling productive; by nature I am a workaholic; I will never know everything and that’s a good thing I run the business like I want to, treat customers the way I want to, every good decision and mistake is mine, I am solely accountable; I.e. if a customer is not 100% satisfied, they get a full refund plus shipping, no questions ask...
